What Are The Benefits to CEREC®?
In the past, crowns and other restorations were a time-consuming process. First, impressions would be made of your teeth; then it would be sent off to a lab where it would take weeks before they would return. Now, the CEREC® in-office milling system significantly decreases this time and can also make bridges, veneers, implant crowns, and custom implant abutments.
CEREC® restorations are scanned accurately within a tenth of a millimeter. Traditionally, the process was flawed as it relied on many factors, including the skill of the dental professional, and the quality of the impression material. However, a direct 3D scan using CEREC technology requires minimal, if any, readjustments and our team can be placed the same day.
